Howard, Boozer take home NBA weekly honors

Howard led the league in rebounding with a 16.3 average, as the Magic went 2-1. On Wednesday, he scored 33 points in a win over Detroit, passing Shaquille O'Neal (8,019) for third on Orlando's all-time scoring list. He also tied a franchise record for most consecutive double-doubles (18), recording 22 points and 16 rebounds in a 101-95 win over the Cavaliers on Sunday.

This is Howard's third weekly award this season.

Boozer averaged 20 points and 15.5 rebounds leading Utah to a 4-0 week. On Sunday, he pulled down a career-high 23 rebounds and scored 22 points in a 93-89 overtime win against the Trail Blazers.

This is Boozer's second weekly award this season.

Other nominees for the awards included Boston's Ray Allen, Cleveland's LeBron James, Dallas' Jason Kidd, Detroit's Richard Hamilton, Miami's Michael Beasley and Jermaine O'Neal, New Orleans' Darren Collison, Oklahoma City's Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook and Washington's Andray Blatche.
