Bronx, NY (Sports Network) - The New York Yankees placed pitcher Sergio Mitre on the 15-day disabled list Tuesday and recalled pitcher Boone Logan from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes Barre. Mitre's move is made retroactively to June 5 with a strained oblique muscle. On the season, he is 0-1 with a 2.88 earned run average in 12 games, including two starts. Logan has appeared in 13 games for the Yanks this season, giving up six runs and 13 hits in 10 2/3 innings.
